It’s easy! Debitrak will supply each pupil with a contactless smartcard or key-fob to be used instead of cash to make purchases at a new smart till in the canteen or Tuck Shop.
Alternatively, Debitrak is also available as an App for your smart phone and a secure QR code on the pupil’s phone can also be used to access their own personal online account at the till.
Parents register online or using the app to set up and top up their child’s account ensuring they get a healthy meal every day. The account balance is always available as well as a record if purchases made at the till.
Parents can top up using any device that has an internet connection using their choice of debit or credit card or through the new Debitrak app for smart phones.
In today’s fast paced click-swipe-tap-scroll digital world most parents are more than familiar with online transactions and most agree that the days of finding cash & coins for school dinners are numbered.

This hard-working team is fully committed to providing food that is tasty and healthy. Their mission is to get junk food out of Irish schools and revolutionize the school food environment. They make it easy for kids to have access to healthy and delicious food at school – with zero cost or hassle to the school.
The School Food Company is in the process of rolling out Debitrak into all their school sites in Ireland.

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
Talk to us about how we can help fund the cost of our cashless system. Each installation is dependent upon variable factors such as the number of pupils and staff and the range of catering services offered. As a rule of thumb, an investment of around € 5 / £ 5 per student goes a long way to covering the cost of the system and, in many cases, that initial cost can charged as a ‘once only’ payment to join the scheme.
